 		  DESCRIPTION:

VD Mounts work the elastomer at shear compression. It is comprised of 2 metal parts which allow it to be installed with its two built-in screws.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

VD Mounts have a V-shaped architecture to provide major deflection at low loads. This means that the natural frequency is low and ideal for engines which normally run on idle speed.
It has three different stiffnesses per X, Y and Z axis to be able to adjust the modes of the suspended unit to obtain optimal isolation.

They can be tilted, which is useful for cases where additional stability is required. In these cases please contact our Technical Department.

APPLICATIONS:

It is used in applications where the load of the suspended unit is low and th level of vibration isolation is high, such as:
  • Small vehicles
  • Small and medium sized gen sets
  • Construction equipment machinery.
