DESCRIPTION
ATP Mounts The ATP Mount is an elastic mount designed to provide anti-vibration isolation for medium and high frequencies in any kind of machines. The top part has a hood shaped armature to protect the rubber from oil, grease, petrol, diesel, dust etc. | |
|
OPERATION AND ASSEMBLY
The rubber on the ATP mount works at shear, ending in the form of a progressive stop which makes it possible to limit the elastic end of stroke at shear, in the event of impacts or transient overloads, as occurs in the case of apparatus on vehicles. Thus, as of the deflection indicated in the catalogue it presents a gradually decreasing flexibility with load. This offers optimal conditions to solve an aperiodic suspension. The ATP mounts may be secured to the floor or ground via threaded rod claws inserted into the concrete. They can also be screwed in between the base of the machine and the metal chassis. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The elastomer used is a compound based on natural rubber specially modified to obtain good aging at alternate deformations. The load capacity is given in the catalogue for the maximum static load admitted, and can withstand strong overloads. The flexibility in an ATP mount is approximately 4 times more rigid in the radial direction than in the axial direction. ADVANTAGES APPLICATIONS In all assemblies where "pitching" of the unit suspended needs to be avoided, as well as the protection of the rubber and the possibility of supporting loads. |
