DESCRIPTION
AT Mounts The AT Mount is specifically designed to provide isolation for medium and high frequencies. The rubber is bonded to two concentric tubular metal parts. The inside metal part is a cylindrical tube. The outside metal part is also tubular, with a flange where the fixing drill holes can be made. | |

OPERATION AND ASSEMBLY
In view of the AT's special structure, a metal washer should be used at the top and the bottom of the mount, making the rubber work at shear, with the action of a progresswive stop as the washer crushes the top of the mount in the case of overoad. Therefore, as of a certain deflection the AT mount presents a flexibility which gradually decreases with loads. This offers optimal conditions to solve an aperiodic suspension. The assembly is very safe, since the main fixing bolt to the machine cannot be released even in the event of deterioration of the AT since the cap at the top and the lower washer which holds the bolt prevents this. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The AT mount has a radial elasticity (in all directions perpendicular to its axis) in the order of 1/4 of its axial elasticity. It is manufactured in three hardnesses to facilitate the choice of the most suitable mount. ADVANTAGES APPLICATIONS The AT mounts can be used to great advantage for the vibration isolation of engines, piston compressors, presses, electric transformers, mobile units etc |
