PRODUCT DESCRIPTION T50 and TS60 are a polymer-based, asphalt-free, high density synthetic soundproofing membrane, that offers good acoustic insulation in different building elements. It has extremely high visco-elasticity as well as being extremely flexible even in cold temperatures. Available in plain (T50 Part Code A120) Peel of self-adhesive backed (TS60 Part Code A150) Extra wide plain (TY50 PArt Code A160) Extra wide adhesive backed (SY50 Part Code A170) PROPERTIES RW 25.2dB for a single layer (@5kg/m²) (test certificate available on request) and around 32dB for a 10kg/m² double layer. High acoustic insulation especially when combined with lightweight panels and boards. Improved low frequency performance. Highly flexible. Class0 fire rating. Great elongation capacity. Easy handling and adaptable to uneven surfaces. Cold and heat resistant. Excellent ageing resistance. Rotproof. Fire Performance Euroclass B, s2, d0 in accordance with EN 13823. (Class0 to the UK equivalent) B - Contribution to combustion is very limited. Demonstrated that the fire is not propagated beyond the strict area in which it has been applied. s2 - Average amount and speed of emission of smoke. d0 - No flammable drops or particles are produced. This classification places the T range at the forefront of soundproofing membranes in terms of fire resistance. It is the first soundproofing membrane on the market to receive Euroclass Certification . To give you an idea of how good this is, Euroclass Standards above B (A1 and A2) can only be awarded to incombustible materials. Materials between Euroclass A and B can be considered the safest in case of fire, whilst those of level C and below can begin to be considered dangerous. Worthy of note is that the tests were carried out directly on the product with no incombustible protection such as laminated plasterboard or metal plate and, on the self adhesive version, which makes the result all the more significant!

APPLICATIONS: Soundproofing against airborne noise in vertical walls with low surface density (lightweight partition walls or boards made of different materials). Soundproofing against airborne noise in ceilings. Reduction of impact noise level in all types of floors, sandwiched between floor slabs and loose-laid flooring. Damping of impact noise caused by atmospheric agents on metal decks. Combined with sound-absorbent materials, it offers products with high acoustic performance. Its applications in the industrial field cover from the soundproofing of booths to the acoustic insulation of machine-rooms, gutter pipes, sound-damping of metal sheets, etc. For further information see examples in systems sheets.
