A high quality acoustic seal with a slotted carrier for easy adjustment and concealed fixings. Mitred or butt jointed it can be easily fitted without removing the door. Also available in an RP78Si version with a fire rated silicon seal insert.

    A heavy duty, superior quality, adjustable acoustic seal with up to 8mm sealing adjustment. The seal can be butt jointed at the corners of the frame to produce an easily installed continuous seal around the doorframe, replacing the conventional doorstop on either steel or timber door frames. An RP24Si version is also available with a fire rated silicon seal insert (different profile)

    • Astragal is a term used for the seal that seals the central join between two swinging doors, the join being known as the 'meeting stiles'.

    A number of extra problems have to be faced when sealing a meeting stile. These include whether or not the seal will interfere with the centre latch, door closers, flush bolts and bottom threshold seals.

    An effective acoustic astragal seal designed for plain or rebated meeting stiles of timber double doors where a centre latch bolt may be required it is also suitable where BOTH door leafs are active.
  • Applications:- Double broad butt hinged and centre pivot double acting doors.
  • Min / Max Gap: 3mm - 4mm.
  • Used in conjunction with: threshold plates and door threshold seals.
  • Supplied in:
    1m (PART CODE SE340) and
    2250mm (PART CODE SE350) lengths.

    An effective acoustic astragal seal designed for plain or rebated meeting stiles of timber double doors where a centre latch bolt may be required. It should be used only when only one door leaf is active. are active. This seal is also available as an RP16Si version with a fire rated silicon insert.
  • Applications:- Meeting stiles of double doors butt hinged.
  • Min / Max Gap: 2.5mm - 8mm.
  • Used in conjunction with: threshold plates and door threshold seals.

    2250mm (PART CODE SE150) lengths.
