A vinyl type magnetic strip in an anodised aluminium holder which provides a very tight seal for door jambs and may also
be used as a stop. For wooden doors a thin steel strip can be rebated into the door face. The magnetic strip has sufficient closing strength
that latches are not required. It can also be used in pairs on meeting stiles of timber doors.
Broad butt hinges are recommended for use with this seal.
If you are using this seal on a wooden door you will need to source your own mild steel strips as these are not supplied.

Applications:- head and door jambs for single and double broad butt hinged doors.

A magnetic seal in an anodised aluminium holder that is morticed into a 16.5mm x 12mm slot of the stiles of hardwood double timber doors either
pivot, sliding or butt hinged, to form an effective acoustic astragal seal. It provides a very positive seal and has sufficient
closing strength that latches may not be required. When used for sliding/double swing doors this seal is not recommended
for highly active doors i.e. best suited to infrequent use and door closer hold open applications. This seal can also be used
in a standard rebated configuration for timber doors as an alternative to our MG2 seal (detailed below).
