AURALEX PlatFoam

PlatFoam is a specialised type of StudioFoam. When used as a riser support PlatFoam greatly purifies the tone of whatever's on the riser dramatically improving isolation characteristsics thus minimising sound transmission to neighbouring spaces.

PlatFoam is a fast and affordable solution to many of your sound problems!

One box of PlatFoam will support an 8' x 8' drum riser.

Lay out the strips at 4" spacings.

Select a suitable decking material

Adhere the decking to the PlatFoam with supplied adhesive

Cover decking with carpet if desired or soundproofing mat first for improved isolation
